Terms of Service

Last updated: July 20, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account or using Fieldtender Pay ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. The Service is operated by Fieldtender ("we," "us," or "our"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Fieldtender Pay is a invoicing and payment platform for field service businesses. It allows you to create and send invoices, accept card payments via Stripe, track payment records, and generate reports for your bookkeeper or accountant.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@fieldtender.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Payments and Billing

Fieldtender Pay charges a monthly subscription fee based on your selected plan. Subscriptions begin with a 14-day free trial. After the trial, your payment method will be charged on a recurring monthly basis. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Payment processing for your customers is handled by Stripe. By connecting a bank account through Stripe Connect, you agree to Stripe's Connected Account Agreement. Fieldtender never holds, pools, or has access to funds collected from your customers — all funds flow directly between your customer and your connected bank account via Stripe.

5. Acceptable Use

You may use the Service only for lawful business purposes. You may not use the Service to:

  • Process payments for illegal goods or services
  • Send unsolicited messages or spam
  • Misrepresent your business identity to your customers
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or resell the Service
  • Circumvent or interfere with any security features

6. Your Data

You own the data you enter into the Service — your customers, invoices, and payment records. We do not sell your data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Fieldtender and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all data and content you submit through the Service.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Fieldtender Pay is not a licensed financial advisor, accountant, or tax professional — reports generated by the Service are for your convenience and should be reviewed by a qualified professional.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fieldtender shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that harms other users or the integrity of the Service. You may close your account at any time by contacting us at hello@fieldtender.com.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
