1. What We Collect

When you use Fieldtender Pay, we collect:

• Account information — your name, business name, and email address when you sign up
• Business data — invoices, client names, phone numbers, email addresses, services, and payment records you enter into the app
• Payment information — your subscription billing is handled by Stripe; we do not store your card number. Bank account details for payouts are held by Stripe Connect, not by us.
• Usage data — pages visited, features used, and error logs to help us improve the Service

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
• Process your subscription payments
• Send invoices and receipts to your customers on your behalf
• Generate reports you request (month-end reconciliation, etc.)
• Send you product updates and support communications
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your customer data for advertising.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Fieldtender Pay:

• Stripe — payment processing, Connect bank account onboarding, and subscription billing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Supabase — database and authentication hosting. Your data is stored in a secured Supabase project.
• Resend — transactional email delivery (invoice emails sent to your customers).
• Twilio — SMS delivery (invoice text messages sent to your customers).
• Netlify — application hosting.

4. Your Customer's Data

When you send an invoice, your customer's name, phone number or email address, and payment details are collected. You are the data controller for your customers' information — you determine why and how it is collected. We process it solely to deliver the invoicing and payment services you request.

We store customer records in your account so you have a complete payment history. You can delete client records at any time from within the app.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes (such as Stripe transaction records).

6. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (TLS), access controls, and secure credential storage. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure — if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at hello@fieldtender.com.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@fieldtender.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies

We use session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this will prevent you from staying signed in.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you by email before material changes take effect. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
